Last week, I published this article urging you to never pay full price for streaming – and promising that TV For Seniors would always be on the lookout for deals for you. So here is a GREAT deal: The Paramount Plus ad-free Premium plan can be had for one year for 50 percent off.

What’s the Promotional Code?

That’s right. With the promo code saveannual50, new and eligible returning subscribers can get a full year of the ad-free Premium plan for $69.99 instead of the regular $139.99. That works out to roughly $5.83 a month for the first year. (I tested the promotion this afternoon and it worked!)

What You Get With Paramount Plus Premium

The Premium plan removes most ads (live TV still has them) from movies and shows and allows you to watch the entire Showtime library which includes such critically-acclaimed shows as The Agency, MobLand and Dexter.

You also can download shows and movies for offline viewing, stream your local CBS station live (which includes NFL and college football games), and watch select movies and shows in 4K UHD, Dolby Vision, or HDR10. Content also includes Paramount originals such as Landman.

How to Claim the Deal

1. Go to the Paramount+ sign-up page.

2. Toggle from monthly to annual billing (this step is important).

3. Select the Premium plan.

5. Confirm the discounted price appears before completing payment. (Very important. Again, I tested it today and it worked but make sure it works for you, too.)

The code is for new accounts and eligible returning subscribers who do not currently have an active billing cycle. So if you are currently subscribed, you can not use the code unless you subscribe again using a different e-mail address.

Important Notes

• The discount is limited to the first year.

• The promotion has been active for weeks and, according to recent deal trackers, remains available with a reported validity window extending into early 2027. But offers can end or change without much notice, so act accordingly.

This is one of the better Paramount+ annual deals available in recent months, especially for anyone who wants the ad-free experience plus Showtime and live CBS.

Final note: I did not check if the code will work with the less expensive, ads-included Essential plan so if you prefer that package, give it a try.
