Sir, do you know if the Sunday Ticket has a discount for seniors and 55 plus viewers? – Mike, Bowie, Maryland.

What is the 2026 Sunday Ticket Price?

Mike, I’m glad you asked. YouTube has now set the pricing for the 2026 edition of the NFL Sunday Ticket. The pre-season pricing for new users is $240 for the entire season whether you get the Ticket on YouTube TV or YouTube Primetime Channels. The pre-season pricing is good until August 26, 2026.

If you are a returning subscriber, the price is $378 on YouTube TV and a whopping $480 on YouTube TV Primetime Channels.

What Is a New Sunday Ticket User?

YouTube does not specify at its web site what constitutes a ‘new user.’ However, in the past, the company has restricted ‘new user’ pricing to anyone who had never subscribed or even used a free trial. That would suggest that only fans who had never used a YouTube TV service or the Sunday Ticket would be eligible for a discounted rate. That said, several readers have told me over the years that YouTube’s customer service has offered Sunday Ticket price breaks if you call or enter chat support.

Is There a Sunday Ticket Discount For Seniors?

Military, Veterans, First Responders, the Medical Community, and Teachers can purchase the 2026 NFL Sunday Ticket with an id.me Heroes Service Plan for the 2026 NFL season on YouTube Primetime Channels for $198 and bundle it with NFL RedZone for $42 more. That deal is available until January 10, 2027. You can learn more about these discounts with this link.

However, there is no similar deal for viewers 55 or older – and there never has been. The streaming industry has yet to understand that many seniors are retired and live on tight budgets. (As we reported recently, the top streaming services do not offer senior discounts on their program packages.) They deserve a discount as well. This is a real shame and we urge streamers to reconsider their policies.

What Is the NFL Sunday Ticket?

The Ticket is the NFL’s package of out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on CBS and FOX. A subscriber can watch any Sunday afternoon game that is not broadcast on a local CBS or FOX affiliate. The local broadcasts, Sunday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, Monday Night Football and select international and weekend games are not available in the Ticket’s plan.
