Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, HBO Adding 17 New Releases Friday: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, HBO Max, Amazon’s Prime Video and Peacock on Friday (April 3, 2026) are adding 17 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
Pizza Movie (Film Premiere)
Where to Watch: Hulu
What Kind of Movie: Comedy
Who’s In It: Gaten Matarazzo, Sean Giambrone
Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things) and Sean Giambrone star as two college students who take an hallucinogenic drug that can only be counteracted by eating pizza. However, the only way they can acquire said pizza is by drone. (Yes, it’s a comedy.) The premise makes me laugh and Matarazzo exhibited a nice comedic touch in Netflix’s Stranger Things so let’s give it a shot.
Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (2025)
Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video
What Kind of Movie: Action/Intrigue
Who’s In It: Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell
Cinematic daredevil Tom Cruise stars in the last installment of the nearly three-decade old Mission Impossible movie series. The secret agent here continues his quest to stop an Artificial Intelligence device from destroying all of humanity. (No, it’s not Alexa.) The supporting cast includes the usual gang of ever-resourceful geniuses including Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Hayley Atwell. It’s not the best Mission Impossible (Personally, I think that’s Mission Impossible II, directed by John Woo.) But it’s fun from start to finish and a perfect send-off to one of cinema’s greatest financial performers. Lower the lights, and your expectations, and you’ll have a terrific time with Tom.
Your Friends & Neighbors (Season Two Premiere)

What Kind of Show: Black Comedy
Who’s In It: Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, James Marsden
Jon Hamm stars as Andrew Cooper, a recently divorced and unemployed New York hedge fund manager who decides to rob his neighbors’ homes to maintain his lavish lifestyle. The black comedy also stars Amanda Peet as his ex-wife and Olivia Munn as his booty call pal but Hamm is the reason to stream in here. The Mad Man star has managed to eclipse his fame in the AMC series with terrific performances in such shows as Landman, Fargo and The Morning Show. In season two of Your Friends & Neighbors, James Marsden plays a billionaire neighbor who discovers Hoop’s secret and forces him into a partnership.
