FOX, ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC and the CW tonight (April 1, 2026) will add 18 new shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):
Presidential Address (Live)
Where to Watch: ABC, CBS (possibly Fox and NBC)
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
Who’s In It: Donald J. Trump
President Trump tonight is scheduled to address the nation on the war in Iran but, come on, this is President Trump so he might talk about anything. So tune in; you never know.
Scrubs (New Season)
Where to Watch: ABC (8 p.m.)
What Kind of Show: Medical Comedy
Who’s In It: Zach Braff, Donald Faison
Since they are in nearly every commercial, it may not seem like Zach Braff and Donald Faison have returned; it feels like they have never left. But the two actors are back in their ‘scrubs’ in this 10th season revival of the comedy series which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2010. Sarah Chalke, who played a doctor on the show (but does not star in 3,569 commercials), is also back as Braff’s ex-wife. In tonight’s new episode, Turk (Faison) is dead meat when he fails to invite J.D. (Braff) to his annual barbecue.

What Kind of Show: Workplace comedy
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.
The mockumentary comedy featuring everyone’s favorite underfunded Philadelphia public school is also back with a new episode: The teachers are the victim of a series of pranks but it’s not the students doing the dirty work. (If you’ve never seen Abbott Elementary, it’s very funny and it doesn’t matter if you pick it up in season five; the jokes will ring true to anyone who’s ever attended elementary school.)
