Hulu Suffers Major Technical Meltdown On Tuesday Night

The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.
TV Answer Man, do you know what happened with Hulu last night? I couldn’t log in and I tried about a dozen times. Is it still broken? Or just me? – Steve, Fairfax, Virginia.
Steve, it wasn’t just you. Scores of thousands of Hulu subscribers stormed the social media sites last night to report they couldn’t log in to their streaming service.
The problem seemed to peak around 7 p.m. ET when DownDetector.com, the site that tracks online outages, said roughly 53,000 people were simultaneously on sites such as X complaining about Hulu.
“Hey @hulu I pay an awful lot of money every month to have you not work,” posted @StevieHustle on X.
“Can’t access Hulu to watch Gilmore Girls with the wifey! The only time I get a little peace and comfort in this stressful, miserable world! I’m about to lose it!” added ‘Midwestmidwit.”

Is Hulu Still Down?
Hulu’s X social media team soon acknowledged there was a technical issue with the login but never explained what caused it. However, the good news is that Hulu reported at 8:36 p.m. ET that the problem had been fixed.
“We’re happy to report that the login issue from earlier has been resolved! If you’re still running into any trouble on your end, please complete a quick power cycle and try again,” wrote @Hulu_Support.
What If You Still Have Issues With Hulu?
If you’re still having issues with Hulu today, I suggest you delete the app and reinstall it and then log in. That might be necessary to clear any issues that remain.
Steve, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
